How affiliate disclosure works
The haus line, the #ad on captions, the Amazon sentence on YouTube and Pinterest, and the note on a DM.
Disclosure is added in three places. The legal page for this site is /disclosure.
On the haus
Every public haus prints one line: The products featured here may contain affiliate links. A single post prints it when the lineup has a working link. There is no setting to turn that line off. It does not add the Amazon Associates sentence, even when the post has an Amazon link and you have saved a tag.
On the way out
Instagram and Facebook captions end with #ad. YouTube descriptions and Pinterest Pins start with the sentence "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases." when a working featured link is Amazon. Otherwise they start with "I may earn a commission from links in this post." A DM trails "(I may earn a commission)".
That outbound line is skipped when the caption already discloses, the post has nothing to sell, or you turn it off under Posting. It does not change the URL. An LTK or ShopMy link still goes out exactly as stored.
