For creators
Connect Pinterest and approve a Pin
The Pinterest business account, the permissions, the board, and what trial access actually shows.
Pinterest is optional. It sits with the other places a video can go after you approve it. You need a Pinterest business account. A personal account is refused.
What you allow
Connect asks for boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write, and user_accounts:read. Those are used to read your account, your boards, and your Pins, and to create a Pin on a board you picked. After connect, you pick that board. You can also create one named Shop from that screen.
The same list is on the privacy policy. Disconnect from Accounts. That revokes the token at Pinterest and deletes it here.
What approval does
Default is you okay each post. You can switch to posting for you after a 0, 12, or 24 hour wait. Either way, a post with no working link does not go out. An approved post can be scheduled to the destinations you connected, Pinterest included. linkhaus does not post a video you have not approved. It does not post to TikTok at all. TikTok only gets a draft in your inbox.
A Pinterest description starts with the Amazon Associates sentence when the featured product's working link is Amazon. Otherwise it starts with a commission line. That is skipped if you already disclosed, the post has nothing to sell, or you turned disclosure off under Posting.
Trial access
Two paths are in the product. Approving a post can create a video Pin through Pinterest's API. That publisher records that a trial Pin is visible to the creator who connected, not to everyone, until Pinterest grants Standard access.
The Pinterest screen inside the app also builds a spreadsheet for Pinterest's bulk uploader. The note on that screen says trial access refuses to create Pins in production. The sheet is videos already posted to Instagram or Facebook, and each row points at the haus post. If a Pin does not show up publicly, that is the trial limit.
